Here at Belgravia Leisure, diversity and inclusion is ingrained in who we are as a business. It helps us drive us forward in all that we do.
We recognise that embracing and celebrating differences amongst our team is key to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace in which every team member feels welcome, safe, included, accepted, heard and seen.
We also believe that to continue this trajectory, it’s critical that we learn more about who we are, how we identify ourselves, what our workforce characteristics are and how we feel about diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
As we seek to understand this, we aim to learn and grow as a business which will not only allow us to serve our current workforce in a more informed way, but also give us the ability to better reflect the communities in which we operate, serve and support.
In August 2023, Belgravia Leisure will launch the inaugural company-wide Workforce Diversification survey called the Belgravia Census.
This survey will measure our workforce characteristics by asking a series of questions about your identity, as well as your perceptions related to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
This survey is 100% confidential, anonymous and safe and will assist us in improving and developing strategies and targets to enhance our commitment to diversity and inclusion. You will be listened to without fear of prejudice, judgement, recrimination or discrimination.
The survey is voluntary! However, I strongly encourage you to participate as your participation will help us all to benefit from your input, that become our results.
Your honest and thoughtful responses will go a long way in helping us set targets and support initiatives which will allow us to work towards supporting all team members in even more meaningful ways, and making Belgravia Leisure an even better place to work, for all.
