Lifeguard
Who can become a Lifeguard?
We are always looking for talented Lifeguards. Anyone with a drive for safety can consider becoming a lifeguard.
- Candidates are to have a reasonable level of health and fitness.
- No previous experience is needed.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible to qualify as a Lifeguard.
- You must be an Australian or NZ Citizen or hold an appropriate VISA allowing you to undertake education.
What qualifications do you need to become a Lifeguard?
Qualifications required to become a Lifeguard include:
- Pool Lifeguard qualification – SISS00129 or SISSS00133
- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation qualification – HLTAID009
- Provide First Aid qualification – HLTAID 011
If you don’t have these, not to worry – Belgravia Leisure has a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation to help you achieve these qualifications, free of charge!
For employees over 18 years of age, we also require you to have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and a National Police Check.

Swim Teacher

Who can become a Swim Teacher?
We are always looking for talented Swim Teachers. Becoming a Swim Teacher is both fun and rewarding and no experience is necessary. Anyone with a passion for teaching water safety skills, learning, developing and getting the best out of people can consider becoming a Swim Teacher. Become a Swim teacher and give people of all ages and abilities a skill for life!

Who can work as a Guest Experience Officer?

Qualifications required to become a Guest Experience Officer include:
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
