The 2026 TeeMates x Belgravia Leisure 9‑Hole Series has continued its momentum this summer, with the surge seeing participation doubling since 2025.
Following the success of the inaugural 2025 series which introduced junior golfers to a four‑event Order of Merit format across Belgravia Leisure-managed public courses, this year’s edition saw 92 rounds played across the 39 junior golfers who teed it up across the four events.
Played once again at Marangaroo, Fremantle Public, Carramar and Point Walter, the series embraced the same welcoming competitive environment, giving juniors of all skill levels the chance to compete, learn and build confidence over nine holes of Modified Stroke and Stableford play.

Weekly prizes were awarded, while Order of Merit points were granted based on top 10 finishing positions. There was also a bonus point awarded for each round players competed in, giving a maximum possible total of 44 points from the four events.
Belgravia Leisure’s National Golf Programs Manager, Jack McDonald, praised the outstanding support shown by the Western Australian junior golfing community:
“It’s been incredible to watch this series grow, not just in numbers, but in spirit. The support from juniors and their families in Western Australia has been fantastic. We’re committed to making the TeeMates x Belgravia Series even bigger and better, giving kids across the state more opportunities to fall in love with golf. I’d like to thank Golf WA for their ongoing support of the events; their help has been invaluable to delivering the series.”
With another successful year complete and participation doubling since 2025, the TeeMates x Belgravia Series continues to establish itself as a highlight of the junior golf calendar in WA. The program’s focus on accessibility, development and fun competition remains at its heart and plans are already in motion to elevate the 2027 edition to new heights.
