At Yarrambat Park Golf Course, it’s not just the fairways and greens that make the venue special, it’s the people.

After four years with Belgravia Leisure, Jordan Muscat has progressed from a Pro Shop and driving range attendant into a Trainee Professional, Junior Coach and PGA Associate at Yarrambat. Along the way, Jordan has built confidence, leadership skills and a strong connection with the local community.

“I love the game of golf and with my own growth and increasing knowledge, coaching just felt like a natural next step,” Jordan says.

Jordan’s passion for coaching is driven by seeing the impact golf can have on people of all ages and abilities. One standout moment came while supporting a family during a mini golf session.

“Hearing positive feedback from a couple with severely neurodivergent children and how grateful they were to have an amazing day of mini golf with my help and ‘accommodating nature’ was incredibly rewarding.” 

Whether working with beginners or experienced golfers, Jordan enjoys being a source of guidance and encouragement for all. 

“I really enjoy sharing my golf knowledge and helping people feel more confident. One of my early challenges was feeling overwhelmed by being in a public facing role, but over time I’ve adapted and grown more comfortable and confident. 

“I’d love to coach more juniors and eventually branch into seniors or women’s Get Into Golf clinics, as well as private coaching,” Jordan said. 

Jordan has also been involved in Yarrambat Park Golf Course’s community initiatives, including charity days supporting Team Kill Cancer. Being part of these events has been a highlight, he says. 

Jordan’s story reflects a broader Belgravia Leisure commitment to developing talent from within, where many team members begin in operational roles and are supported to progress into specialist and leadership pathways.
