Over 280 young athletes flocked to MARC Stadium in Bacchus Marsh for a once-in-a-lifetime basketball clinic with NBA superstar Josh Giddey from the Chicago Bulls.
Hosted in partnership with the Bacchus Marsh Basketball Association (BMBA), the event was a high-energy day of skills, drills and fun, with plenty of time leftover for questions and photo opportunities with the Bulls fan favourite.

MARC Stadium is no stranger to prominent celebrity visits; Aussie basketball greats such as Luke Travers, Brian Goorjian and DJ Vasiljevic have previously attended, getting up close and personal with lucky members in attendance.
Stephane Tabardin, Venue Manager at MARC Stadium said:
“We’re beyond thrilled to have provided such a memorable experience for our aspiring basketball stars. Having Josh Giddey here is a great honor that strengthens our local ties and showcases our capability to host prominent events.”
Young kids bonded with the NBA star in heartwarming displays of togetherness and excitement off the court with a special meet-and-greet over lunch.

The Bacchus Marsh Country Fire Authority even joined in on the action, firing up the grill to host a legendary sausage sizzle fundraiser for the community.
Stephane continued, “Today was a powerful reminder of how sport can inspire and unite us. A massive thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable event possible, the energy you brought was unmatched.”
