For the team at Moore Park Beach Holiday Park, guest feedback isn’t just about the reviews, it’s about building a thriving community. This approach has helped the park secure a place in Caravan Parks Association Queensland’s Top Five Most Improved Global Review Index (GRI) scores for 2024, an acknowledgment based entirely on real opinions from guests.

Michelle Weston, Chief Executive Officer of the Caravan Parks Association of Queensland, says, “Moore Park Beach Holiday Park has achieved one of the five most improved GRI scores in Queensland in the 12 months to March 2025. This is an outstanding result that reflects genuine effort and commitment.
“Increasing your GRI score takes real work and it requires listening, adapting and consistently delivering a great experience, day in and day out. To see such improvement is a clear sign that the changes the team have made are hitting the mark.”
Park Managers Corrina and Karl Gyorosi have been managing the park for 18 months and in that time, they’ve focused on one thing: making every stay feel like a family gathering.
“Karl and I, as well as Ryan and Hayley (our relief team), are thrilled to have received this recognition for our efforts. We are very thankful to all our guests and the amazing people we’ve met on our journey at Moore Park. We’re especially thankful to Hayley and Ryan, they had no prior park experience and have hit the ground running and assisted us in making an impact on our guests,” Corrina said.
A beachfront escape surrounded by parklands, Moore Park Beach Holiday Park is just 18km from Bundaberg and boasts nearly 20km of golden sandy shoreline. In summer, you might even spot nesting loggerhead sea turtles along the beach.
Onsite, guests can choose from beachfront powered and unpowered sites shaded by natural trees or stay in ensuite cabins. Facilities include a pool, barbecue shelter, laundry and clean, functional amenities. Families love the playgrounds nearby, the skate park and the bowls club across the road.

But it’s the personal touches that keep guests coming back. “Karl, a passionate cook, often surprises visitors with homemade baked cheesecakes or German-style crepes, and it’s so popular that returning guests often email ahead to check if it’s on the menu. We also host regular sausage sizzles, sometimes feature live music and the park’s vegetable garden is kept stocked for guests to enjoy.

“Our guests always love our seasonal events like the “Help Us Light Up the Park” Christmas competition which saw guests decorate their vans and sites with solar lights, transforming the park into a festive wonderland. Karl donned the red suit for a Santa run, while I took on the Easter Bunny role, they were both a big hit with the kids and even the adults,” Corrina said.
Tim Hutchison, Belgravia Leisure’s Head of Guest Experience, says, “It’s clear why the park has built such a strong reputation over the past year. Stronger guest connections, glowing reviews and a reputation as a park where memories are made. It’s a reminder that thoughtful touches can have a big impact on guest satisfaction and that loving what you do shows in every guest interaction.”
Corrina concluded, “We all look forward to continuing to offer the best guest experience here at Moore Park and as we’ve said before, it’s an added bonus that we love what we do”.
