Awarded the prestigious 5-Star Royal Life Saving Accreditation, reaffirming their commitment to safety, excellence and industry-leading standards. Following rigorous assessments, Peak Hill Pool and Trundle Pool achieved a perfect 100%, while Parkes Aquatic Centre and Tullamore Pool earned impressive scores of 98%.
Royal Life Saving’s 5-star accreditation is the gold standard in aquatic facility management, assessing venues on:
- Water safety and risk management – ensuring strict lifeguard vigilance, emergency response preparedness and hazard mitigation.
- Staff training and qualifications – requiring up-to-date certifications, ongoing professional development and real-world emergency drills.
- Comprehensive documentation and procedural compliance – reviewing extensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, incident reporting systems and safety audits to ensure facilities are operating at the highest standard.
- Facility compliance and operations – evaluating pool maintenance, water quality management and adherence to industry regulations.
- Public safety measures – assessing signage, patron supervision and accessibility to safety equipment.
