On the 2nd of June, our Melbourne team members were dealt a heavy blow with the news that lockdown would be extended for a further seven days.
Despite the challenges around not being able to go to work or support their local communities, the team at Ascot Vale Leisure Centre got creative and shot a video to keep our members and guests motivated during lockdown.
In the video, the team encourages members to snap photos of themselves keeping active for a chance to win $100!

The team at Swan Hill Leisure Centre also took to social media to encourage members to join their #pushforbetter mental health campaign, which would see all donations going to headspace Swan Hill to support young people and families in the Swan Hill community.

The team at Aquarena Aquatic and Leisure Centre have been creative with their lockdown fitness routines. In fact, one of the Aquarena fitness instructors has been conducting classes via Youtube!
Here’s hoping our teams will see a more positive second half of June and an end to Lockdown number four.
