Belgravia Leisure strives to connect everyone in the community to leisure. This ethos is embedded in everything we do, and our efforts to achieve this have been acknowledged with many national and regional industry awards. 

With strong support from leaders at every level and local champions in each venue, we create welcoming spaces where people with a disability, of diverse backgrounds or experiencing disadvantage can participate fully.

Our focus is simple. We want every person, in every community, to feel welcomed, supported and able to participate in leisure in ways that matter to them.

We Acknowledge

How we bring social inclusion to life in our venues

  • Appointing 70+ Inclusion Coordinators as local leaders who spend over 2,500 hours a month driving accessibility and community connection within our venues.
  • Establishing a National Disability and Diversity Manager role, the first of its kind in our industry.
  • Listening to community groups, families and individuals via twice-yearly community network forums to understand needs and preferences to better support.
  • Rolling out a five-year national Access and Inclusion plan to strengthen inclusion in our venues.
  • Committing to continuous improvement by creating accessible pathways into our services and programs, and developing new ones when needed.
  • Creating employment opportunities for people who reflect the diverse community in which they serve, whilst striving to create a discrimination free workforce for each and every employee.
  • Ongoing collaboration with our partner Cerge, a companion app for people with a disability which is now available in 100 Belgravia Leisure venues.
  • The provision of a range of inclusive programs and services for people with disability, including the AAA (Access All Abilities) Swim and social program

Established in 2018, the purpose of Belgravia Foundation is to connect the community to sports, leisure, recreation and fitness. Our mission and passion supports our belief that everyone has the right to access a healthy and active lifestyle.
