Kids are leading the charge at Belgravia Leisure’s South Australian golf courses, with more opportunity than ever before to get junior players involved.  

Exciting competitions were held as part of the TeeMates Par Three Series, managed, organised and run by Golf South Australia. Two standout events were held recently on the dynamic Par Three golf courses Valley View Golf Course and Glanville Golf Course, where enthusiastic young golfers from clubs across the state engaged with the sport. 

At the first golf course, Valley View Golf Course, 17 junior golfers teed off across both nine and 18-hole courses, and at the second, Glanville Golf Course, 21 juniors took to the fairways. 

The junior-focused program has made a triumphant return for the third year running, continuing its mission to grow junior participation and showcase emerging talent across the state. The lively series creates opportunities for both young girls and boys to develop their skills and passion for golf, with support from Golf Australia and Golf South Australia.   

At both Valley View Golf Course and Glanville Golf Course, as partners of the TeeMates program, TeeMates members can play a round at each course for just $5. 

Venue Manager Zac Packard praised the initiative, saying: 

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see so many juniors out here enjoying the game. These events are all about nurturing young players, helping them to grow, compete and fall in love with golf. We’re proud to be part of a program that’s building the next generation of golfers”. 

Both competitions were fierce, and the results were impressive. Notable winners included Lucas Huang, Juliette Lawler, Oscar Wang, Katerina Lambos, Alyssa Muadz and Adam Muadz. A huge congratulations to all who participated for their efforts. 

Zac continued, “A heartfelt thank you to Golf Australia and Golf South Australia for their continued support in managing and promoting these tournaments”. 

“We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another fantastic series of events in 2026.”
