East Fremantle Community Park (EFCP) has welcomed over 2,500 attendees to a blockbuster day out, East Freo Bites & Beats, created for families and people of all ages in the local community.
Guests relaxed on picnic rugs and enjoyed a variety of live music, food trucks and all-ages activities at the free event, delivered in partnership with the Town of East Fremantle.
“It was a thrill to see the community come together and enjoy a summer evening at the park,” said Glen McCulloch, Venue Manager at East Fremantle Community Park.

“Events like Bites & Beats demonstrate the potential of this precinct as a welcoming, safe and enjoyable space for each visitor, now and in the future.”
Tasty food truck offerings included dumplings, woodfired pizza and fries, with a range of food and sweet treats on offer courtesy of Carnaby’s Café, Bar and Restaurant.
The day also brought a strong lineup of entertainment, with East Freo local AC/DC tribute band Macca Dacca, 2024 Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, Matt Burke, James Wilson and Coby Grant putting on a spectacle for guests.
Families got creative in a range of activities across the park. Screen-printing with the Town’s Public Art Panel, giant games and face painting kept things engaging; train rides, footy skills with the East Fremantle Football Club brought a Kids’ Zone to life.
