A perfect morning of sizzling bacon and a great sense of community was the recipe for success for Glanville and Valley View Golf Course’s free members’ breakfasts. Two free breakfasts drew dozens of smiling faces and glowing feedback.
The two breakfasts brought together more than 50 members across both venues, celebrating the shared love of golf, food and connecting with others. Members enjoyed not only a classic bacon and egg sanga, but the chance to mingle with fellow players, many of whom they’d never crossed paths with on the course.

“It was fantastic to see so many of our members come together to share breakfast, conversations and even a round with players they might not normally play with” said Zac Packard, Venue Manager for both courses.
“The member community is incredibly strong at both Glanville and Valley View and it’s the spirit of our members and guests that makes each venue such a welcoming and vibrant place to be” Zac said.
The initiative was all about giving back to the people who form the heart of each golf community, the members who turn up rain or shine, week in and week out.
“It offered a rare opportunity for members who play at different times or in different groups to build new friendships. It is these bonds that are formed on the course that make our venues so much more than just a place to play golf” Zac concluded.
